Sex Therapy

I am a growth-oriented therapist dedicated to helping clients overcome shame, anxiety, unmet needs, and other obstacles to living as their most authentic selves. I bring a non-judgmental, body-positive, and pleasure-affirming approach to therapy. I have 10 years of academic training and degrees from Yale University, Dartmouth College, and Antioch University including a certificate in Sex Therapy, as well as 15 years of experience supporting diverse individuals through major life transitions.

My approach combines emotionally focused therapy, narrative techniques, mindfulness, somatic awareness, nonviolent communication, and experiential strategies tailored to each client’s needs—whether they prefer a direct, challenging style or a gentler, compassionate one. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling like passengers in life rather than drivers. If that resonates, I’d love to help you rewrite the unhelpful stories you’ve been told and reclaim your own narrative.

I work with individuals and couples on a variety of issues, with a special focus on long-term relationships, parenting challenges, men’s sexual concerns, and navigating religious, queer, non-monogamous, and kink identities.

Individual Therapy

$165/hr

I offer therapy to individuals seeking support with a wide variety of life challenges. Many of my clients are seeking help to go deeply inward and get a better handle on their feelings, behaviors, and thought patterns. I help clients to overcome shame, fear, and masking and to gain greater self-awareness, agency, resilience, autonomy, authenticity, self-compassion, and courage. I work with clients on integrating painful past experiences, so they can feel, act, and love more freely and boldly. I help clients address their inner longings for connection, belonging, attunement, and clarity.

Relationship Therapy

$180/hr

I work with couples, polycules, and anyone navigating complex relational dynamics. I help people in relationships to reduce defensiveness and distancing, so they can listen more deeply and compassionately to one another. I help people express themselves to their partners in a more fruitful and authentic way. I support couples in building more secure attachment, and build the emotional intimacy that often paves the way for more satisfying sexual intimacy, closeness, fulfillment, and love.

Sex Therapy

I am a trained sex therapist which means I am a therapist with extra knowledge, comfort, and training in the field of human sexuality. I provide a safe and competent therapeutic space where clients can explore how they feel and what they want (or what they don’t want) regarding: romance, sex, desire, attraction, gender, kinks, body image, sensuality, ethics and consent, formative experiences and hoped-for futures regarding sexuality. To be clear, sex therapy is not a separate offering, it is a type of training that I integrate into individual therapy or couples work when it is beneficial and applicable for the clients.

I am not in-network with any insurances, but I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement Limited sliding-scale spots are available for those with financial need. Please ask about this if you have this need.
